It would be cool to be a model because being a model means that I would have limitless opportunities to try a wide variety of clothes and styles for which I have never imagined before. I would regard these sorts of fruitful experiences as a process of self-exploration, in which I would better understand what styles, or single items are compatible to my albino self.

COVID-19 RESPONSE. MIKE MAGIK, EMCEE/HOST. SHANGHAI

Despite how international media has been portraying the Chinese government on their handling of the situation, this is one of the few times I would say I am actually happy to be living in China.  I know many people are going to have their own opinion of how information gets released out in this part of the world, and to be honest there are certain things that do not sit well with me, but that is not what we are here to talk about.  I think that the Chinese government has done a tremendous job in getting the country where it currently stands today, with regards to slowing down the spread of the virus.

I remember we started talking about Corona Virus during Paris Fashion Week, end of February. The virus arrived in Milano, Italy, just one week earlier when all the ‘fash pack’ was there, so there was a risk that the virus would travel to Paris from Milano… We were working on some fashion shows, filming backstages and runways, and I remember that people where hesitating to take the threat seriously or not…. Fashion likes lightness and no one wanted to spoil the party…

COVID-19 RESPONSE. ELEANNA KATSIRA, FASHION DESIGNER. ATHENS

Where are we going next? Athens, Greece to check in with accessories designer, Eleanna Katsira. She does some great work with leather and laser cutting. The first and last time we saw her was in Paris, at the Ozone Showroom. Since, we have kept up on her growth through social media, but with the global pandemic of Covid-19, we felt it was high time to check back in and see how Eleanna has been getting by.
